The word industry is used to denote all business engaged in similar activities or involved in the production and distribution of similar products. Thus, hospitality industry includes all people and establishments engaged in reception and entertainment of guests such as hotels, casinos, and resorts, which offer comfort and guidance to strangers, whether it is commercial or non-commercial. The term includes management as well as jobs in areas such as hospitality-related law, marketing, event management or human resources.
